Need for Speed Shift

The past several releases in the Need For Speed series were sure to disappoint. They lost their roots and were killed by all the other racing games out there. However, with their upcoming release of Need For Speed Shift; it seems that it is back to the way racing should be. This recently released teaser shows just what this game could be capable of and definitely raises my hopes again for this series. I think that EA made a smart move by splitting their Need For Speed division into three separate teams, leaving each team to be able to only focus on their customers needs. Shift looks to be a great sim that could compete well in the hardcore racing genre, but only time will tell. We just have to wait until it is released on September 22.
